Personally i do not know what to think about all that whilst lots of good stuff comes from these civilizations we have to also realize they are by nature the tyrants of their time.

When the Roman empire game to England they appropriated the culture with Christianity by force. Christianity was only part of Romans history because of the crucifixion of Jesus who was tried by the Romans even though he was a Jew and not Roman.

Why? Because the Romans ruled the Jews at the time they were not the same civilization.

Don't get me wrong England was no better when they had their empire really either.

Just my view,
