Handmade Clay flowers and paintings : Decorating my Room .
Hello, beautiful people!♥️ How are you all doing? I hope you are all fine. Recently, I moved into my new room in the hostel. It initially looked very plain and silent, so I decided to make it feel more like home by decorating it using my crafting and painting skills.
Clay Flowers
First, I purchased clay in 12 different colors and began making flowers. I started by forming a round ball of clay, then gently pressed it with the backside of a brush to shape it into a petal. Five petals made one flower. I created plenty of flowers in different colors.
Next, I glued them onto the corners of my mirror—five flowers in the upper corner and five in the lower corner. This created a beautiful boundary. Then, I added yellow fairy lights around the mirror, which looked absolutely aesthetic.
Paintings
For the walls, I used some paintings I had created during my intermediate classes 😂. Also , few of these paintings are mine rest of canvas are gifted by my Friend Ayesha because she's a brilliant Artist. As you can see in the picture bellow.
Diamond shape paint
The switchboard corner looked dull compared to the vibrant pictures on the wall, so I decided to add some color there too. I taped the wall in a pattern that formed a diamond shape when the tape was removed. I painted over the taped areas and let the paint dry for two days. When I removed the tape, it revealed a pretty diamond-shaped color art piece. You can enjoy This revealing of tap in the video on top.
In my previous blogs, I posted about handmade wall flowers made with ice cream sticks. I used those to add some texture and depth to my room’s décor. Additionally, I placed some potted plants on my windowsill to bring a bit of nature indoors.
