Threespeak and OCD Manual Curation Collaboration: Compilation #184

Hello everyone!

Take note that @threespeak videos can also be posted to their appropriate communities. For example, if you have an amazing travel video, you can upload it in Threespeak and post it in Haveyoubeenhere community at the same time.

A compilation post will be created for those upvoted posts to highlight both the author and the community where the post is located, the same way how Other Niche Communities curation works.

Here are the curated posts for this batch:

At the beginning of 1970, Zorena became one of the main voices in Un Solo Pueblo and an important part in the formation of this musical group, being the wife of Maestro Ismael Querales with an extraordinary voice, she had direct contact with Maestro Teodoro Capriles who in turn learned many Christmas carols compiled by Maestro Vicente Emilio Sojo, Rafael Olivares Figueroa, among other masters of the time.

Music has always been present in my life, although the truth is that I have dedicated myself to other things at a professional level. As some of you already know, I dedicate myself to research. I have a degree in Geochemistry and my area of research in Environmental Sciences. However, my inclination for music comes from when I was a child and I owe it to my fourth-grade music teacher, whose name I do not remember. He noticed that I had a knack for rhythm when he taught us about compás and conducting. So, he invited me to sing in the school's children's choir and I was determined to do it. I remember that I did not ask my mother's permission, but told her that I was selected and that from now on I would go to rehearsals twice a week. I was 9 years old at the time. Many moons have passed since then and I have sprouted some gray hair, but since then, with some pauses, I have sung a lot for myself, besides enjoying it, it is an act of liberation and balancing my chakras (as I usually say). Because singing can lead me to connect with joy, the emotion that defines me, or to get out of sadness or stress at times.

This traditional carol dates back to sometime in the mid 1850s.It is a story based on legends of the historical Saint Wenceslaus I, Duke of Bohemia (907–935).In the song the king goes on a journey during the cold snowy winter weather to give food, wine and pine logs to a poor peasant on the Feast of Stephen (December 26, the Second Day of Christmas).

Greetings beautiful people of #music today I bring you this old old cover, but, well well.hehe. apologies in advance for the details, the song is a bit high in tone and how I'm recovering from the flu, more details still. sorry ☺️☺️. I hope you like it. blessings always 🙏🙏

A big hug from a distance, dear community of #FoodiesBeeHive, today I want to share with you this rich recipe and very typical of our country Venezuela, we have made these Hallacas very Creole, in firewood to give it that rich Venezuelan seasoning that we all have when making the Hallas. I hope you like this recipe and can share it with your family and friends. The Halca was born in marginalized communities during the colonial era of Venezuela. The black and indigenous slaves prepared the dish with the leftovers of food left by their masters, and it was prepared mostly in the fields of cocoa, corn and banana harvesting.

I Started liking this song when I heard Morissette Amon, a Filipino singer, singing this song. She is just so good and I like how they she sing it. It really blows my hair. lol.. I mean, my mind. 😁 Anyway guys, I hope you'll like it. 😃

When it comes to Christmas, we starts to think of the christmas carols, santa claus, snowmen, and all that glitters that makes this ocassion special. It is not an Indian festival, still we make it special in our own way, at least I made sure to make it special with cakes, gifts from my Dad, who is real santa to me.

It was Sage's first exposure at the Botanical Garden as well. He enjoyed the area by walking, running, talking about it. I was glad that even if I have been living in Seychelles for almost seven years now, the first time I set foot in the place, I was blown away by its calming vibrant together with our baby. The very main reason why I wanted to visit there is to enjoy the view with our toddler.

I hope with all my heart that this video series on Health and Wellness will provide you with the necessary tools for the care and prevention of health in our children, I invite you to stay with us for the next editions. If you would like us to talk about a particular topic about health in our children, please leave a comment.
