Our happiness will be proportional to the disinterested acts inspired by divine love, because God has prescribed the law of action and reaction in the plan of salvation.
Good actions stimulate the nervous system, each ray of light with which they illuminate their neighbors will be reflected in their hearts. Every kind and sympathetic word addressed to the bereaved, every attempt to ease the burden of the oppressed, and every gift designed to meet the needs of our neighbors, if brought to glorify God, will return to the giver in the form of great blessings.
Those who act in this way obey heavenly law and receive God's approval. The pleasure received from good deeds amuses the heart and, transmitted through the nerve endings throughout the body, revitalizes blood circulation, improves physical and mental well-being.
Life in Christ is a pacified life. Rigidity, dissatisfaction, and anxiety betray the Savior's absence. If Jesus appears in life, he is full of good and noble works for the Lord. You will forget about self-satisfaction and start living closer and closer to the beloved Savior. His character will be like Christ, and everyone around him will understand that he was with Jesus and learned from Him.
Within each person there is a source of their own happiness or unhappiness. If you just want it, you can rise above the base, sentimental feelings that many people are experiencing now.
If possible, put all your good deeds into your short life. "And the rational will shine like lights in the sky, and those who return many to the truth, like stars, for ever and ever (Dan. 12: 3)
The Bible reveals incomprehensible riches and everlasting treasures from heaven. Man, above all, strives to find his own happiness, and the Bible recognizes this desire, and also shows us that all of heaven will unite with man's efforts to find true happiness.
It opens the conditions under which the peace of Christ is given to people. She describes a house of eternal happiness and sun, where there will be no pain or need
If there is someone who needs to be constantly filled with gratitude, this is a follower of Christ. If there is someone who enjoys true happiness, even in this life, he is a faithful Christian.
We should be the happiest people on earth, and not ask the world for forgiveness for being Christians.
From a worldly point of view, money is power. But from a Christian perspective, only love is power. It also refers to intellectual and spiritual power. Pure love is especially effective; he does good and can do nothing but good. Avoid disagreements and bring true happiness. Wealth often corrupts and destroys; strength can hurt, but truth and goodness are the main attributes of pure love.
"Then in everything you want people to do to you, you also do to them" (Matthew 7:12).
The Savior taught this principle to give happiness to people and not make them unhappy, because there is no other way to happiness. God wants people to live a more spiritual life. He sends you the blessings of life, not only to empower you to acquire wealth, but to hone your noble skills by completing the work he entrusted to you: the task of finding and meeting the needs of your neighbors.
A person should work not for his own selfish interest, but for the interest of those who are close to him, blessing others through his influence and good deeds. This purpose of God was incarnated in the life of Christ.
Whatever position we occupy and no matter how limited our abilities, we have work to do for the Lord. Our virtues develop and mature in the process of experience. If the truth of God burns in our breasts, we cannot remain inactive.
The happiness we will experience when we work will reward all our efforts even in this life. Only someone who has experienced happiness as a result of selfless efforts in the service of Christ can speak with full knowledge of the matter. It really is such a pure and profound joy that it cannot be expressed in words.
