Coincheck announced the decision to remove Monroe, Dash and ZCash, which are three popular crypto moneys, as they contain some risks today.
The news came after about 500 million NEMs were stolen from the company on the latest attack on the stock market and the hackers were still on track. Despite the fact that the crypto money has not been recovered, the firm has initiated the repayment process for the lost crypto money customers. The decision to remove the third of the most popular crypto parlets from Coincheck was interpreted as an unstable move.
The reasons for removing these crypto-banking platforms are shown as securing privacy and anonymity. It was decided that they all pose a great risk to the company, citing the fact that this situation has become a problem like money laundering potential.
The three popular crypto moneys constitute anonymity risk
Both Dash and ZCash are not entirely anonymous, although there is concern about castration and change. Although both provide confidentiality features, users of these crypto-bank accounts have been successfully defined by past blockbrain analysis. The same thing can not be said for Monero, which is the only fully anonymous crypt money on the market right now. This leads to attraction and popularity in the dark web. It is not known whether Coincheck's second decision is to take the decision to issue these cryptograms. It should be noted that even though no further details have been given, users can still withdraw their money.
Other stock exchanges have not been followed as well as now. But it will be interesting to see if this situation will continue for a longer period of time. Especially the anonymous crypto units are now completely under the spotlight
