In High Mana battles my grip has become very good and if I compare my win rate then in my High Mana battles my win rate is higher compared to Low Mana battles. The main reason for this is that in High Mana battles no matter how difficult the rule set modifiers are you still get more chances for monster selection.
You can easily select different monsters and plan your strategy for the battle. On the other hand if a Low Mana battle comes and you get a difficult rule set then your monster selection becomes limited and a kind of confusion is created about which monster you should select and where you should position it. And this becomes one of the major reasons for losing the battle.
Today's 58 Mana battle was very interesting and exciting. It was such a good competition that in every round one battle monster from my side and one enemy unit kept getting eliminated.
There was no one sided battle. The competition was tough and until the end it was not possible to know which team was managing its position better and which team was going to win.
The good thing is that there was no rule set in this battle. This means you were completely free to select any monster and do positioning and there were no restrictions. For me this was a plus point and I became more interested in playing this battle properly and sharing its battle history with you people.
Because often in High Mana battles the enemy unit has high health and high armor monsters on the frontline which creates a lot of difficulty for attackers to eliminate them quickly.
So what strategy did I adopt for this? I thought that I should select a good Archon monster so that at the very beginning of the battle the enemy units could receive proper damage.
And what happened was that I selected the Thalgrimore Archon monster whose Minus One Ability reduces the health of all units by one.
What is the benefit of this? At the beginning of the battle itself the health of all enemy units is reduced which makes it easier for my attackers to attack and eliminate them quickly.
After that I selected my frontline monster as a strong tank monster which had good armor and health and at the same time also played the role of a melee attacker.
In the second position I placed a mix of a melee and magic attacker which had two powers together which included magic and melee attack. What it would do is that in the second position it would not use its melee attack. Instead because it had magic power it would continuously attack the enemy units using magic power.
My third and fourth monsters were a mixed combination of ranged and magic attackers and both continuously attacked the enemy units.
Sometimes the ranged monsters hit would come and sometimes the magic monsters hit would come. Because of this the enemy units frontline and midline became quite weak.
And in my back end position I again placed two monsters with a mix of ranged and magic attacks.
Overall I kept an aggressive stance in this battle because in High Mana battles having good strikers is also very important so that you can give good damage to their tank monsters and eliminate them quickly.
How did the battle start? In the beginning good hits kept coming from both sides but the first enemy unit was eliminated from its back end position.
After that my frontline was destroyed which created a kind of confusion for me because if the frontline did not survive in the battle my back positions would become quite weak. But the good thing was that my secondary tank monster survived in the battle for quite a long time and kept absorbing good damage.
There was a point where my team had five monsters while the enemy unit had only three monsters remaining. But then my frontline monster and the secondary monster were also destroyed.
However after that all the monsters in my middle positions handled the battle and because of their strong attacks all the enemy units monsters were destroyed. In this way I got a wonderful victory.
In this battle I would call my favorite monster Great Bear Druid because of its multiple attack the enemy units monsters were also eliminated.
And because of its strong health tanking ability it survived in the battle for quite a long time and kept dealing heavy damage. Because of this I got a wonderful victory in the battle.
What is your strategy in High Mana battles? Do you keep an aggressive stance or do you put more focus on defense? will be glad to see your answers in the comments section.
