Today's 20 mana battle was very interesting and I got the opportunity to play this battle with two easy rulesets where I scored a great victory in just two rounds. The battle was finished very quickly because my monster selection and positioning worked perfectly on the battlefield.

My strategy is always perfect in low mana battles. Low mana battles needs more care because due to small mana capacity you have to pick monsters very carefully that match the rulesets and make a great combination.

In any low mana battle it is important that you first understand the ruleset properly and then select your monsters accordingly. If you do this your chances of winning will become much higher.

My win rates are more in higher mana battles because there are many options of monster selection because of the high mana cap. You have the best options to select your monsters and position them well according to the rule sets. But in low mana battles, this is a great struggle because you have less mana and there are sometimes that your deck lacks those monster cards which best suits the rule sets.

Before moving toward the battle breakdown and my strategy first lets understand the rulesets what is explained in these rulesets and what strategy and monster combination I made according to them.

RULESET 1: DRAGON BREATH

This is a ruleset where monsters hit directly by magic or ranged attack get the Burning effect. And what does this Dragon Breath ruleset do? At the start of every round Burning has a chance to spread to next monsters and all Burning monsters lose 2 health.

Because of this Dragon Breath ability magic and ranged attacks become dangerous because they give continuous burning damage in every round.

According to this ruleset it is necessary to adopt a strategy where you use heavy magic or ranged attacks to burn enemy monsters and deal them with extra damage.

RULESET 2: ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED???

According to this ruleset you are allowed to select only one gladiator monster from your deck

And what does this Are You Not Entertained ruleset do? It gives you the chance to bring a powerful gladiator card into standard battles.

Because of this ability selecting a strong gladiator card gives you extra power and support.

According to this ruleset it is necessary to adopt a strategy where you select a gladiator monster that fits your strategy perfectly and helps you win the battle easily. If only you have this card in your dect.

MY STRATEGY AND MONSTERS SELECTION

Keeping these two rulesets in mind what strategy did I adopt and which monsters did I select?

First of all I selected my as -1 health ability. which gives good support to my team and also reduces the health of all enemy monster before the start of the battle.

On the front line I selected Vengeful Monk which is a strong melee striker with good attack power to lead from the front. The good thing about this monster is that it can also serve as a tank monster because of its strong melee attack.

For me it was the best choice to place in the front line. It also has a strong melee attack and attacks every round with +2 Power allowing it to deal consistent damage to the enemy each round.

In the second position I selected Sorrow Harvester which is a magic attacker with magic attack power to hit the enemy while staying behind the front tank. She will keep on attacking from the 2nd position and will directly damage the health of any monster despite having any armor.

ON THE BATTLEFIELD

When I looked at the enemy lineup on the battlefield it was also quite interesting. They had a good monster selection as well. For the time I guessed that the battle will be unpredictable and whose going to win remains undecided.

The battle started with strong attacks coming from both sides. Because of the Dragon Breath ruleset magic attacks gave burning effects instantly.

In Round 1 both sides made heavy strikes. My Vengeful Monk hit the front tank while Sorrow Harvester dealt magic damage from behind.

In Round 2 my team took complete control of the battle. The enemy front tank could not survive my heavy strikes and fell quickly.

At the end of Round 2 I got a very good victory. The main reason for this outcome was that I selected strong monsters and made a good combination that destroyed the enemy team in just two rounds.

What would your strategy be in this type of ruleset and which monsters would you give more preference to? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
