High mana battle games are my favorite because in this type of battle you get more opportunities for monster selection. You can choose your best monsters and select them according to the rulesets and take full advantage of them.
Todays 78 mana battle which is considered a high mana battle was very interesting and confusing as well. There were two special rulesets included.
According to those rulesets I planned my strategy and with a special battle strategy I got a victory in this battle.
First lets find out what the two rulesets were and what things I needed to keep in mind.
ENRAGED WARRIORS
The first one was Enraged Warriors where melee units are given priority over magic and ranged units. In this ruleset all melee units whether they are on the allied team or the enemy team will attack first compared to magic or ranged units.
Speed will also be applied according to this priority. The melee unit will get the first chance and its speed will also be higher compared to magic and ranged units.
So keeping this ruleset in mind it is necessary to adopt a strategy where you have as many melee units as possible in your deck. Melee units with the Charge and Enraged abilities will be very good because you can place them in every position and make them attack.
In this type of ruleset your melee units are more useful so it is very important for you to have balanced monster cards in your deck.
OUTSIDER
The second ruleset was Outsider which means that you are allowed to summon only one Wild unit.
Now keeping the first ruleset in mind you have to choose that Wild unit which is a melee attacker has high health and also has good armor. If you select this monster card from the Wild units then it will be your best summon and it will be very helpful in the battle as a part of the teamwork.
Keeping both of these rulesets in mind I adopted a very aggressive stance strategy where I gave more priority to melee attackers and from the Wild units I selected a monster with high health.
MY STRATEGY
If you look at my frontline monster I placed a high health tank melee attacker. In the second position I placed a monster with the Reach ability which was also a melee attacker so that both of them could absorb damage and they would also get more priority and attack first compared to the other attackers.
Then in the third position I again placed a third tank which belonged to the melee attacker category. After that in the mid position I selected a ranged attacker.
And again I selected a melee attacker and in the back position I again selected a ranged monster so that attacks could continue.
Because melee attackers were given more priority in this lineup I selected four melee attackers and two ranged attackers were also included. So I kept a totally aggressive stance.
Along with this I also selected my Archon with the +1 Speed ability so that the melee attackers could get more speed and continue attacking more and faster.
This was my strategy and lineup.
THE START OF BATTLE
The battle started very strongly where two enemy units were eliminated and one of my units was eliminated. The battle continued in the same way and finally one by one the enemy units kept getting eliminated while five of my monsters remained alive.
And in this way I got a very excellen victory.
For this victory I would give credit to my mid position monsters which included two melee attackers and one ranged attacker. Because of them I got the victory in this battle as they kept delivering strong attacks and I also had a strong defensive lineup in the mid position because of which I got an excellent victory.
So what would your strategy be in this type of ruleset and which monster would you give more preference to? Will be glad to see your answers in the comment section.
