Today's 34 mana battle which is considered a medium mana battle was very interesting and exciting. When I looked at all the units on the battlefield a kind of confusion was created in my mind about whether I would be able to win this battle or lose it.
There was suspense until the end because both I and my opponent selected the best monsters and came to the battlefield with the best positioning. Because of this we got to see a very good battle.
I selected the Archon with the plus one ability monster because of which all of my units got plus one health. In this way my opponent selected the Archon with the plus one speed ability.
My strategy was something like this. I selected a strong health monster for my frontline monster whose name was Dire Bear. It is also a strong melee attacker and is considered a good tank monster.
My second monster was the one with the Reach ability. I selected it so that it could stay in the second position and still continue attacking because the job of the Reach ability is that it can attack from the second position as well.
For my third and fourth monsters I selected strong ranged attackers. I thought that my strategy from the middle to the end position should be aggressive and that they should continuously attack the enemy units.
Unfortunately my back position monster named Kicking Rock could not make any attack and became a useless monster for me. The main reason was its wrong positioning.
In Round Two I felt once that maybe I would lose this battle because my backline monster was destroyed because of the Sneak ability. Now I had only three monsters left and the enemy unit had four monsters left.
But I got a good comeback in Round Three. My units destroyed the enemy frontline which was a plus point for me. This was possible because of the strength and endurance of my frontline monster.
In this way in the final round I had two monsters alive and the enemy had one monster alive. Because my frontline monster still had good health remaining the enemy's remaining unit was also eliminated. In this way I got a great victory in this battle.
I would call my favorite monster in this battle my frontline monster Dire Bear. Because of its excellent health it continued absorbing damage and gave a lot of support to my allied units. Meanwhile my monsters from the back side continuously attacked and destroyed all the enemy units.
There were two rule sets in this battle which included Even Stevens and Super Sneak. Both of these rule sets were very simple and easy to handle.
In Even Stevens we were only allowed to summon monsters with an even mana cost. Odd mana cost monsters were disabled.
Now if you do not have even cards in your deck then this will be a struggle battle. But if you make a balanced deck then you will get the opportunity to easily select monsters in every type of rule set.
Because I had enough even monster cards I got a chance to make a very good monster selection. According to this rule set I planned my strategy and selected all of my strong even cards on the battlefield.
The second rule set is Super Sneak. In this rule set all units that have melee attack get the Sneak ability. The job of the Sneak ability is that it targets the enemy unit that is in the last position.
Usually the monsters in the last position are support and ranged monsters. So according to this rule set these support and ranged monsters will be destroyed first.
Because of this rule set I had to struggle a little because my backline monsters were eliminated quickly.
Keeping these two rule sets in mind I adopted a defensive and aggressive strategy which I have explained above in my battle.
