Lake toba

Lake With 62 miles long and 18 miles wide, TOBA in North Sumatra is known as the largest lake in the world.The natural beauty of Lake Toba is astounding. Samosir Island is located in the middle of the lake and provides the perfect escape from the crowds in Medan, the fourth largest city in Indonesia.

Lake Toba is also surrounded by mountains, hills and cool green expanse of sight. Sipiso-Piso waterfall is also part of Lake Toba. Sipisopiso Waterfall is located on the giant caldera of Lake Toba and is formed on the Pajanabolon River which is one of the rivers that supply water to Lake Toba.
