Hello,
this week I was again away for 5 days. I did enjoy my Saturday as we had gorgeous autumn weather in Munich. It was warm and sunny, a perfect day to spend outside with the family and to tackle my small project.
I received this week a big boost from the firm as the car that I drive will be sold as I will get a new one and one pair of rims and the old ones can be scrapped. I'm allowed to sell them and keep the profit.
I will add the profit to the challenge as they have been free. Also the trip home costs as free as I would have done the same trip as it is my daily commute.
For the rims and tires I hope to get something between 50-100 € as they have also the TÜV certification.
Tires are Bridgestone Blizzak 215/40 R18, used, so my target is decent.
It looked great on the car, but are very high maintenance as the die cast profile is covering the tires. Most wheels have the tires outside and the rim inside. They look lit as you can see:
I did two rounds of trash picking this week, one yesterday evening and one today in the morning.
Some people might think I'm crazy and I care less. I think that it is my duty to have my place clean and my surroundings. I did pick 3 big blue IKEA bags of plastics and 1 of paper. All landed in the recycle bin. I did also pick some common trash and cigarettes and they landed in the normal trash.
The Red Bull drinking crew was again this week around and I managed to collect 12 cans and bottles worth 3 €.
I did not manage to repair the chair so I have to focus in the next two weeks on it. Next week I will be in Czech Republic so will not be able to do something, beside the weekends.
I will continue to look for opportunities as they can be everywhere.
Target is to amass over 300 € till spring when the flea market season starts and the good deals can be made as people need more space and sell real cool stuff for no money.
