If you are ever in the city of Lindos, Rhodes, be sure to pay attention to one of the most famous relics of the island. In the rock at the entrance to the Acropolis, you will discover a well-preserved part of the relief of the Rhodian trireme, a warship. This relief is a monument to the Maritime power of the island of Rhodes and, according to some sources, is the only (of its kind) image of an ancient Greek warship.
