Night light

He visto muchas combinaciones de naranjas con azules y me parece muy bonito e interesante, esa mezcla entre día y noche para mi es muy emocionante, dos colores completamente opuestos que a la vez se complementan muy bien. Hoy en este retrato quise recrearlo a mi versión guiándome por algunas referencias para saber como combinar correctamente el azul y naranja, además de agregar algunas estrellas amarillas para un contraste diferente. Espero que les guste.

I've seen many combinations of oranges and blues, and I find them very beautiful and interesting. That blend of day and night is very exciting to me—two completely opposite colors that complement each other very well. Today, in this portrait, I wanted to recreate my own version, using some references to guide me on how to correctly combine blue and orange, as well as adding some yellow stars for a different contrast. I hope you like it.

Realice el boceto y comencé a agregar los colores empezando por los azules y luego un poco de naranja, en una nueva capa agregue mas colores para darle la forma correcta al rostro y ubicar mejor la zona iluminada. Comencé a mezclar los colores hasta dejar un resultado suave pero como siempre manteniendo un poco la textura. La parte azul fue un poco complicada ya que use colores muy oscuros para que la zona naranja resaltara aún más.

I made the sketch and began adding colors, starting with the blues and then a bit of orange. On a new layer, I added more colors to give the face the correct shape and better locate the illuminated area. I began mixing the colors until I had a smooth result, but as always, maintaining some texture. The blue part was a bit tricky since I used very dark colors to make the orange area stand out even more.

Pinte el cabello con diferentes tonalidades de azules, pero esta vez un poco mas claros, tambien agregue mechones naranjas en la parte izquierda donde refleja la luz, cambie el fondo a un azul oscuro y empecé a dibujar pequeñas estrellas amarillas a las cuales les agregue un poco de luz, al igual que agregue luces en los ojos, nariz y labios. Finalice realizando un leve ajuste de color añadiendo mas profundidad a la imagen.

I painted the hair in different shades of blue, but this time a little lighter. I also added orange strands on the left side where the light reflects. I changed the background to a dark blue and started drawing small yellow stars, adding a bit of light to them. I also added highlights to the eyes, nose, and lips. I finished by making a slight color adjustment, adding more depth to the image.
