Fue un día muy lindo porque tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir con la familia de mi esposo que durante todos estos años se ha convertido tambien en mi familia, fuimos específicamente a conocer la nueva casa de la tía de mi esposo, se mudó a Caracas (ella vivía en la guaira) ella nos invitó hace mucho tiempo, pero no habíamos tenido la oportunidad de ir y aprovechamos esta salida para comer, pasear y finalmente visitar su casa.
It was a really nice day because we had the chance to spend time with my husband’s family, who over the years have also become my family. We went specifically to see my husband’s aunt’s new house—she moved to Caracas (she used to live in La Guaira). She had invited us a long time ago, but we hadn’t had the chance to go, so we took advantage of this outing to have lunch, go for a walk, and finally visit her house.
Nos encontramos en el centro de Caracas, para nuestra sorpresa también estaba la abuela de mi esposo que es una señora que me cae demasiado bien, se puede conversar fácilmente con ella y tiene muchas ocurrencias, la tía es nuestra tía favorita, la mas loca y la que siempre ha estado ahí para nosotros, ella es una persona espectacular a la cual me siento en confianza de hablarle de cualquier cosa ya que es super extrovertida y yo soy todo lo contrario jajaja.
We were in downtown Caracas, and to our surprise, my husband’s grandmother was there too—she’s a lady I really like; it’s easy to talk to her, and she’s full of wit. She’s our favorite aunt—the craziest one and the one who’s always been there for us. She’s an amazing person whom I feel comfortable talking to about anything, since she’s super outgoing and I’m the complete opposite, hahaha.
Fuimos a comer en un lugar llamado Arturos, venden pollo, hamburguesas y ensaladas, estaba bastante bueno y lo disfrute mucho sabiendo que el próximo mes comenzare una dieta estricta.
We went to eat at a place called Arturos; they serve chicken, hamburgers, and salads. It was pretty good, and I really enjoyed it, knowing that I'll be starting a strict diet next month.
Luego salimos de ahí fuimos a Mc donalds por unos helados y comenzamos a caminar y de la nada la tía me dice ya llegamos a mi casa, estaba super cerca su casa de donde estábamos y es increíble porque tiene muchos lugares cerca, tiene tiendas de ropa, calzado, restaurantes, cine, centro comercial a un paso de su casa, me gusto demasiado ese lugar. Aunque el edificio da bastante miedo, son edificios muy altos y después del terremoto le tengo un poco de miedo hasta a mi propio apartamento.
Then we left there, went to McDonald’s for some ice cream, and started walking. Out of nowhere, my aunt told me, “We’re at my house now.” Her house was really close to where we were, and it’s amazing because there are so many places nearby—clothing stores, shoe stores, restaurants, a movie theater, and a shopping mall just a stone’s throw from her house. I really liked that place. Although the building looks pretty scary—they’re really tall—and after the earthquake, I’m even a little afraid of my own apartment.
Y por fin conocimos su casa, es un hermoso apartamento recién remodelado, tiene un estilo minimalista muy lindo, me encanta porque todo se ve super limpio y satisfactorio, ordenado y tranquilo, a penas entramos le dije “¡AMO tu casa esta hermosa!”
And finally we got to see her place—it’s a beautiful, newly remodeled apartment with a really nice minimalist style. I love it because everything looks so clean and inviting, neat and peaceful. As soon as we walked in, I told her, “I LOVE your place—it’s gorgeous!”
Ame toda la decoración incluso me encantaron los espejos con luces y la habitación de la hija de la tía es el sueño de cualquier niña, me encanto cuando vi que tiene su propio tobogán encima de su cama
I loved all the decor—I even loved the mirrors with lights—and my aunt's daughter's room is every little girl's dream. I was thrilled when I saw that she has her own slide above her bed.
Mi hijo jugo con su prima toda la tarde y estuvieron muy felices, ellos no suelen verse seguido pero ayer hicieron un lindo lazo de amistad, incluso la niña le regalo un peluche a mi hijo, me pareció super tierno.
My son played with his cousin all afternoon, and they were so happy. They don't usually see each other very often, but yesterday they formed a lovely bond of friendship—the little girl even gave my son a stuffed animal. I thought it was so sweet.
Un día hermoso donde la pasamos bien con nuestras personas favoritas.
A beautiful day where we had a great time with our favorite people.
