Yesterday after returning from work activities I went home to take my macro lens and walked on a rice field road in Serba Jaman Tunong village, Tanah Luas, North Aceh, Indonesia. Many species of insects that I saw jump and fly along the edges of the rice fields such as moths, grasshoppers and rice stink bug.
However, there is one insect species that interests me the most due to several considerations such as rarity, and the difficulty of photographing it. And my eyes fell on the species of tortoise beetle or with the Latin name Aspidimorpha miliaris, a species of beetle belonging to the family Chrysomelidae.
It was natural for my eyes to fall on this of tiny insects class. Yeah, not without reason because of the attractive color and other uniqueness of this beetle species, such as in terms of its shape which at first glance looks like a ladybug, but it has a shell like a turtle.
On the other hand, this Aspidimorpha miliaris beetle can be found in Southeast Asia and India, although it is considered a pest, I really enjoyed and felt satisfied to be able to capture some of the photos yesterday.
