Monomad - Robberfly (Asilidae)

Hello Everyone..

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

In this post, I again want to share some photos of Robberfly that I found on the edge of rice fields in a remote village in North Aceh. Precisely in the village of Serba Jaman Tunong, Sumatra, Indonesia.

As for the robberfly I mean Asilidae, a family of predatory flies. As for other characteristics, this fly is very aggressive, so fast when maneuvering in the air. Even when we want to take a photo, we have to be very patient until the robberfly is really calm and comfortable in the spot where it sits and then we can get the perfect photo.
