Today I want to share some macro shots with two small insect species as objects. The first insect was a moth named Phycodes minor. When I first encountered this insect I didn't think it was a moth at all, instead I thought it was part of a beetle or leafhopper species. After I find out about him it turns out he is a moth, quite interesting with the size and body shape for a moth.
And the second insect is a planthopper species from the Ricaniidae family. This insect often stands behind the leaves like a moth. And while it's quite docile, once it's flying, you'll completely lose track of it. Yeah, he is very quick to jump and fly unlike other types of leafhoppers.
