This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

On today's #monomad challenge I want to share some photos of cup fungi that I take a photo this morning at around 10.40. Cup Fungi is a fungus in the Pezizaceae family with the characteristics of a red mushroom shaped like a cup.

I found this mushroom in the forest not far from where I live, this mushroom grows on twigs that have been buried in the ground in a shady place under a big tree.

In the same location I also found a mushroom that was still part of a cup fungi, the color and shape were almost the same, but this one was a hairy cup fungi. Apart from that, the stem of this hairy cup fungi is shorter than the cup fungi above.
