And in this #monomad challenge post, I want to share some photos of spiders and bed bugs that I found in the same location, namely in the thickets of Paya Leupah village, Simpang Keuramat, Aceh, Indonesia this afternoon.

The spider I share is Oxyopes salticus, not a jumping spider species but a spider in the Oxyopidae family. This type of spider prefers to spend its hunting in wild plants in the bush and when I found it, it was hiding under a leaf protecting its eggs.

Then at the same location I also found a species of stink bug, he is a Brown marmorated stink bug, an insect in the family Pentatomidae. As we know, as the name implies, stink bugs, this insect species has a distinctive feature, namely emitting an unpleasant odor when they feel threatened.
