Hello, my friends, wherever you are, as always, I hope you are all healthy and happy, so you can go about your daily activities smoothly, and I hope you all have a wonderful day.
In this meeting, I return to this beloved community to share some images featuring a small species of spider I found on my plantation.
This spider is not an insect and is not considered a pest. Unbeknownst to us, this spider can play a role in controlling and predatoring insects, earning it the nickname "farmer's friend." Spiders also have three hunting methods: web-spinning, hunting, and jumping spiders. Like the one I encountered in this meeting, I believe the small spider was a jumping spider. When I approached, it immediately jumped away from me, disappearing among the small leaves.
Spider species also have morphological characteristics consisting of four pairs of legs and three segments. Spiders also have multiple eyeballs depending on the species, so the spider's eyes can be used as a reference in determining morphological taxonomy.
Below are some images I managed to take when I first saw this small spider from various angles.
Okay, my friends, those are some of the pictures that I shared at this meeting. I hope you all like and are entertained by what I shared and see you at the next meeting.
