Hello Fascinating Insect Lover..
In this post, I again want to share some photos of the koksi beetle that I found on the edge of a river in the interior forest area of Aceh, the island of Sumatra, Indonesia.
In appearance they are easily recognizable because of their small round appearance and colorful backs and in some species have a combination of black spots on their backs.
Some people think they are a species of ladybug, but in fact they are generally known as pumpkin beetles or also some think they are part of the order Coleoptera. Here are some photos:
