How are you today? Hopefully we are all in good condition and of course stay healthy and active by continuing to apply health protocols.
In this post I want to share some photos of beautiful yellow dragonflies, I took this dragonfly in a grass area in a remote village, precisely in the village of Cot Tufah, Paya Bakong, North Aceh, Indonesia.
As for the dragonfly I mean the Scarlet skimmer, this species of dragonfly has two colors, namely red and yellow and what I got is yellow.
Then where can you find this dragonfly?
If you want to look for dragonflies, you can find them in the bushes or grass around which there are puddles of clean water. There's something interesting about dragonflies, yeah.. dragonflies can't be separated from the water, why is that? this is because the dragonflies themselves lay their eggs in the water, and sometimes because of the presence of these dragonflies we can measure the quality of water in a place.
If the dragonfly likes puddles in that place, it means that the water conditions in that place are still good. On the other hand, if the water is polluted, then of course the dragonflies don't want to choose puddles there to lay their eggs.
Then another interesting thing about dragonflies is that their presence certainly does not disturb farmers, unlike some other types of insects. However, the dragonfly itself eats mosquitoes, fleas and several other insects that are actually pests.
In addition, of course, we agree that butterflies are beautiful insect species to look at and their presence does not disturb the environment, sometimes it is beneficial.
