Insect Macrophotography | Dragonfly

A dragonfly is an insect belonging to the order Odonata, infraorder Anisoptera. Adult dragonflies are characterized by large, multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong, transparent wings, sometimes with coloured patches, and an elongated body.

I found this dragonfly in the interior of North Aceh, Indonesia in the morning before noon. As we know, dragonflies have two pairs of large eyes, so they can see clearly, even when maneuvering in the air when they want to pounce on their prey.

Dragonflies also have two pairs of translucent or transparent wings. The wings usually follow a dragonfly body color combination. The dragonfly itself is another insect predator. Mosquitoes are his favorite food.
