Hello Fascinating Insect Lover..
A few days ago I went to a cacao farm next to which a friend of mine has planted grass for fodder and there I came across a species of insect that I was not used to seeing before. Even when I wanted to take a picture I was a bit scared.
As for insects I mean Xorides, genus of Ichneumon wasps in the family Ichneumonidae. In appearance this wasp genus has a red head shape while the rest of the body is black including the wings and body. And what's interesting is that I really haven't seen this genus of wasps before. And thanks to the help of Google Lens, I finally learned that this insect is a wasp species.
And Then next is Sinea, a genus of assassin bugs belonging to the Harpactorinae family which I also recently discovered. Its distinctive feature is the presence of thorns that protrude at the top of its body.
