Today I want to share with you my weekend cycling trip to Habanim garden in the city of Ramat Gan.
This weekend I explored new places by bicycle. While cycling through the city of Ramat Gan, I came across Ramat Ef'al (Hebrew: רָמַת אֶפְעַל), which is a neighborhood of Ramat Gan.
Ramat Gan (Hebrew: רָמַת גַּן or רָמַת־גַּן, IPA: [ʁaˈmat ˈɡan] (listen)) is a city in the Tel Aviv District of Israel, located east of the municipality of Tel Aviv and part of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. It is home to one of the world's major diamond exchanges, and many high-tech industries.²
While exploring the center of Ramat Ef'al, I found a beautiful garden.
There are several paths to enter the garden.
The "Habanim" garden is dedicated to the memory of the fallen in defense operations townspeople from the Ramat Ef'al neighborhood.
There is a beautiful tree in the middle of the garden with a memorial stone and next to it is a cenotaph with the names of the fallen.
The garden features a children's playground, public gym and a small citrus groove. I found some unripe lemons, oranges and grapefruits.
There are plenty of green paths to take a walk on.
The garden is home to some beautiful trees and very green lawns, a very pleasant view in the middle of the hot Mediterranean summer.
I very much enjoyed my visit to this garden. It was a pleasure to find, explore and remember the fallen.
