I lived hidden 90% of my life. I have trouble sticking with things.
If you say, "I'll see you later," I'll (inside) say, "not if I see you first."
Three years ago I took a productivity course. One that used to be lovely and now is a bit crazy-making. Nonetheless, I started taking my shot at turning on the mic to participate a little. Be heard? What? Later, I experimented with the camera. Be seen? What? There were both some scary epic fails.
Then I grew impatient. I started a #can-anyone-explain-web3-in-pedestrian-language-to-me?" twitter space on a dare. That very week Hive came into my life via @shadowspub who brought with her
@epodcaster the next. The three of us hit it off like old friends. That was more than 50 live audio shows ago on X.com/alessandrawhite #HiveSpace.
Tonight's my first irl HiveFest registration! For months, I wanted to come, but didn't know if I could actually do it, and if I did, would I be calm enough to learn anything? I gotta say, it looked dicey, real dicey.
But I had tired of sweating it. So, in July, I booked a cheap flight, a modest room at the venue Rosarito Beach Hotel, and took to Mexico for the first time...all by myself, mind you. I needed to know. Was it for me? Would I feel safe?
As I finish this post, it's time to get ready for the pre-event fiesta atop the Pacifico tower of the "RBH" overlooking the city at night. @bitterirony and I have been here for a couple of days to help with installing the
@nftshowroom. By comparison, that was easy!
Now it's time for hair, makeup and going out clothes. Now THAT really makes me nervous! 😬
