Introducing : AcidCage
I have days where I say " f' it I'm making some hard, crazy fast, mind altering s*&^". I also know I will always have those days in the future so I decided to create a side project named "AcidCage". The sounds will be electronic, fast, acid house flavored, & experimental.

Trippy is one word my friend used after listening. I prefer energizing, in your face, hardcore, but I like the heavier stuff )

By the way, how did you get the vocals to sound like that?

That is an excellent question man.
I found a free text-to-voice generator on google to get the words I wanted. I was able to pick the gender of the voice & speed there on the site. It gave me an mp3 that I dropped into my track.
I normalized the wave, just to beef up the sound a bit, & then sliced it up the way I wanted for the concept I had. To get the stretched out sounds I just copy/paste a section of the wave. Like the c sound in Accccccid.
At this point it was pretty bad and not going with the track at all in terms of melody or loudness so I added some inserts. Neptune pitch adjuster and some inline compression just for the vocal channel (see below).
The other effects are all sends on the mixer...

The same effects are also used on other mixer channels...
Then it was just a matter of adjusting levels of the sends & effects to get the sound to work. I hope that helps & Let me know if you have any questions!
