Let´s go for another macro session, and to follow the previous lineage, let's keep the matter solid and rocky.
When looking at the miniature photos it looks like i was photographing the moon, a slightly flawed moon :P
The texture is so linear and clear that sometimes everything seems to blend together when the perspective doesn't include the dark background to create the necessary contrast.
Its white tone is soft and delicate, with a polished and shiny surface, subtly reflecting light and creating a radiant shine.
When observing closely, the subtle layers that intertwine like frozen threads of light are noticeable. These layers give the stone a three-dimensional depth, revealing intricate patterns and delicate details.
Once again, from something that seemed impossible to obtain more than two or three distinct records, it was possible to put together a small collection of varied perspectives on the same subject
Before moving onto the result...
My introductory thoughts about macro photography:
It's amazing how macros with their blurred background can result in such different images full of contrasts and textures especially with this kind of subjects.
In the world of photography, especially macro photography, there is a universe of things available to everyone, enabling totally different and original approaches.
Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.
Let's now move onto the result:
It ended up resulting in a session of about 65% neutral tones, easily confused with monochromatic registers, but this is really the normal color, despite having added a little toasted pigmentation to create some distinction and distance the register from a more accentuated neutrality.
Maybe it would have been a good bet to leave the tones unchanged, but in the end i'm satisfied with the result.
