I'm not a wizard or a magician, I'm just learning to be one.
Wednesday is a day for walking.
Today is a sad environment in our country. The President announced mobilization. Almost 7 months ago, he started a war against Ukraine. He thought that no one would resist him and he would win within a week. But he miscalculated. And now there are not enough soldiers in this war, new victims are needed. Today there were protests in the cities of the country, but not very many people turned out to these protests. But I think that people will think about the fact that the war has come to their families. Those people who welcomed the symbol of war, the letter "Z", realized today that now their children, brothers, husbands can be at war and stay there forever.
I love the combination of yellow and blue. This combination can often be found in nature: blue sky and yellow flowers. On one of my recent walks I met a large cluster of yellow flowers. This is Jerusalem artichoke. It is also often called by people as an "earthen pear". Apparently someone threw the tubers of this plant into the trash heap as unnecessary, and they multiplied. Of course, this garbage heap is illegal in this place, but few people pay attention to such trifles in Russia. There are a lot of garbage heaps and landfills in the forest around the cities.
But today I want to say that the combination of "yellow and blue" always reminds me of Ukraine.
These flowers appear around the middle of August. They are very high, about two and a half meters. The leaves of the plant are rough, and the trunk is strong enough to stand upright, but fragile when broken.
I'm in an awkward situation. I have to be as strong as this trunk and worry about my country, for the Russian Federation, but I also worry about Ukraine, for the citizens of this country, they are not strangers to me.
Before I got to the beautiful yellow flowers, I had to walk through the weeds, through the thorns. So it is in our life - in order to achieve a good result, we often have to do something bad.
But I hope that by the New Year we will see a good result.
And most importantly, the nuclear weapons that our president threatens will not be used. Life will continue on Earth.
