Wow. This piece has so many emotions to it. The end nearly left me breathless. Your use of imagery really brought this poem alive.
As we pass the black kites keening over the behemoth of Delhi's waste,
Like the crushed stall, the shadowed beast is darkly peripheral to vision,
All are subject to its reckoning.
This is no simple conflict.
These lines bring me chills and really stood out to me. This makes me think of the ever existent battle against aging and death. Really beautiful work, @riverflows!
