9/24/2024: Smörgåsbord
Ok, first off, had to check the spelling on smörgas...did you know where this came from?
...I was certainly not aware of that. Also however, and I don't normally go there, but here we are - anything that's a part of the official history or narrative of the World's Fair I generally don't trust. ...although this one doesn't carry any massive implications I can see, so I guess we'll go with it.
...not much crow-business today, but I did just order a 1080P trail cam on Temu, so things could be getting pretty interesting in that department very soon.

Alligators Like Peanuts!
I tried an experiment and tossed some peanuts to this alligator. He actually spit out the shells and enjoyed the peanuts! By the time I left, dude was COVERED in turtles!!! ...I've often wondered if the gators will ever eat the turtles...seems like they don't!~

Alligators get this rap for being scary and stuff, but I gotta say, the way this one chomped on peanuts and cuddled with turtles, I found it to be irresistibly cute.
I Found a New Decision Rock
This rock is slightly ferrous. It's very dense. It's mostly honest and it's rarely mistaken. It can say such things as Yes/The first one, or No/The second one, both, neither, or THIS is the spot!
We are learning to work together, although it already told me it's not my forever rock...then again, it could be mistaken.
I also found my first shark tooth!
Ladies and other people, I am 41 years into this life. I have been to many a beach. I have witnessed countless people, familiar and strange alike, finding sharks' teeth in the sand. My kids have found them, my wife has found them - once, on shark tooth island, I saw a lady pull up in a kayak and find a tooth within a minute. I've never found one. I've searched judiciously (lemme just have this one) and come up with nothing...until last night.
I found a real rammer-slammer - a big 'ol black shark tooth, just sitting there on top of the sand! I'm keeping it with my runestones forever.
...and, that's enough internets for one day
I saw this headline this morning, and that was when I said I'm done. I'm glad the kids are safe, but what in the actual fuck are we doing on this planet right now that this could even be written and published? How did the parents manage to witness this, and not be the ones who rescued their child?
Ah, hold on a sec there honey, see? It looks like that troop of monkeys is taking care of everything...
...I'm sure the article explains it all, but as I said...I'm fuckin' done.
