As a sunset lover, when I travel I always search in advance for the best sunset spot I can go. I only type "best sunset spot in ____", I go to images and look for the ones I like the most and try to recreate them or find better ones. But trust me, with this technique you will find very good spots. Some of them, like the ones I am sharing with you, just came, I didn't research anything. These ones are actually the ones you feel the proudest.
