So we are making progress. We live in The middle of nowhere, but it is the dog mushing capital of the world. We have lots of mom and pop farms also.
We are making progress in opening a small animal feed store in our area. The mill that makes most of the food for Alaska is over 2 hours drive. There are 2 local places that sell feed but, this is not their main business. Their prices are almost double the intown price. We also plan on stocking straw and hay by the bail.
