Hello everyone, this is Hive Open Mic Week 256. I’m still your boy 
Even though my rendition did not directly communicate the theme of the week, it reminded me of the last year carnival period when I went home during my leave period from work. Unfortunately, I hate seeing masquerades, so on the first day of the carnival I decided to lock myself inside the house while everyone is out for the event. Even for the fact that I decided to stay remain inside the house yet I was still feeling like they can still come into the house. And I could remember vividly that this was one of the songs I used to console myself as I stayed indoor that day. I felt like some of the masquerades will follow to the house so I am only left with the option of worshiping God in the closet.
Also, one other thing that inspired me in the song was the fact that the song is a cry to God to fill me with his presence because as a Christian I believed that the best way to serve the lord your God is to have his presence (Holy spirit) present with you anywhere you go to. And having the holy spirit to guide you through your activities I feel is the best gift one can ever have.
The way Folabi Nuel and his team members also presented this song made me like it a lot. The music is slow, cool and interesting. The whole sound was just balance. No noise and there is no conflict in singing the parts, everyone understands which he or she needs to do and they did it amazingly well, I was really impressed.
