The yellow-striped flutterer (Rhyothemis phyllis) is a species of dragonfly belonging to the family Libellulidae. I caught this dragonfly while walking near a swamp in the forest southeast of Lhokseumawe. It has fairly broad wings and beautiful patterns. This dragonfly's habitat is only found in certain areas of our town.
The dragonfly perched in the bushes, braving the wind, occasionally fluttering its broad wings in the breeze. It didn't waver at all, instead enjoying the breeze, wiggling its jaws as if chewing gum.
This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
