For the current #monomad challenge, I'm submitting some macro photos of a beautiful butterfly here. This was captured last weekend while we were taking an afternoon walk near a reservoir. It is known as the long-banded silverline (scientific name: Cigaritis lohita ), a species of lycaenid butterfly that inhabits bushes in the Bukit Sukamakmur Valley, North Aceh. I love this butterfly because, besides its beautiful appearance, it's so tame that even when I'm so close, it doesn't budge at all. As a result, I got some sweet shots of this butterfly feeding on flower nectar. Oh, how sweet!
All of the images here are my own work, taken with Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
