This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by monochromes@monochromes.

This mosquito is friendly to humans because it's not a 'dracula' like most mosquitoes. Toxorhynchites, commonly known as the elephant mosquito, is a large genus of diurnal mosquitoes whose species occur mostly in forests. It has a long proboscis and lives by consuming the juice, nectar, or sap of weed plants. Oh my! Seeing it sucking nectar too greedily, I suddenly felt thirsty.
