The rainy season has finally arrived after a long wait. I can't wait to explore the woods for mushroom hunting.

These were taken not this month but last June, when it was still the dry season. But sometimes the rain comes as a consolation to living beings who are boiling over from the hot weather. Along with that, mushrooms also appear as solace for those who miss them.

The black-stalked Marasmius (Tetrapyrgos nigripes) really amuses me. Raindrops, like sprinkles of coarse sugar stuck to caps, are something beautiful to look at. I'm sure tomorrow, or the next day, there will be more like these.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
