Today I found unique mushrooms growing on the trunk of a dead areca tree. They are bright orange like the color of magma.

Pycnoporus cinnabarinus, I think it is more accurate to describe the species of this fungus. Belonging to the Polyporaceae family, this fungus is also commonly known as the cinnabar polypore.

Some of them seem to have at one with the vines, this indicates that the fungus has been growing for a long time and still survives despite the hot weather conditions until now.
