Today is a natural prompt!π
It's a new year, an increase in number.
How did you meet the new year? Sleeping? Hanging out with friends? Movie? Praying/Church/Religious gatherings? Scrolling through social media? An intimate time out with your partner?
However it met you, the year has begun!
We assume that the activity you start the year with determine how it will go. This is not always the case. New years come with so much highs, optimism and excitement.
Once the festive period is over and people are back being about their business, the new year resolutions are already tossed to the windπ
Someone said sarcastically, "oops, I've made a mistake, can we restart the year?"
A mistake on the first day, isn't a condemnation to the rest of the year. Every new day brings with it opportunity to make things right.
This new year, I'll be about growth.
Spiritual growth, first.
I believe that when my ways are right with God, every other things align.
With a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, will come the strength to navigate other areas of my life.
I'll be about consistency, about taking the path meant for me and not merely letting circumstances determine where I'd be. Oh, and that will still come by knowing God's will for me each season.
My expectations aren't so much at the moment, I do not like to be overwhelmed but a step at a time, I'll get to where I'm headed and it will all make sense.
This morning, I'll be about eating food.. woke up so late as I went in utterly late. I can't start the new year hungryπ© However, my first intake was water melonπ What a fruitful year it's gon be!π
I'll live my life like someone who's been given another chance. We'd agree that not many made it into the new year.
I'm looking forward to a year with endless possibilities and taking over the nations!
Would have loved to bless this post with pictures but the last time I took a picture was last yearπ€£
Until I get off this bed and get my day rolling, you have a pleasant and amazing 2022!π₯π
