I’m in Malaysia this week to attend Hive Fest, the annual meetup of Hive.
Before leaving, I asked a neighbor garden friend to take care of my plants inside home, on the balcony and in the garden. I gathered all my indoor plants in one spot so it would be easier for her to water them.
Just before leaving, I couldn’t help myself and bought some purslane seeds to sow on the balcony 😂 Both purslane and lamb’s lettuce can grow outdoors even during the cold German winter, so autumn sowing is a must.
Unfortunately, it rained the day before departure, so I didn’t visit the garden. But since autumn and winter don’t require much maintenance, and my kind neighbor will keep an eye on it, it should be fine.
Here in Malaysia, I’m enjoying the lush, jungle-like scenery that stretches through the cities, the suburbs, and everywhere in between.
Oh, and I got a go to put the

Hive Festに参加するためにマレーシアに来ています。家の中、バルコニー、庭の植物たちは、庭がお隣の友人にお世話をお願いすることができました。家の中の植物は水やりをしてもらいやすいように一箇所に集めておきました。
出発間際には往生際悪く、スベリヒユの種を買い求めてバルコニーにまきました 😂 スベリヒユとノヂシャはドイツの冬でも外で育つので秋の種まきが欠かせません。
残念ながら出発前日は雨で庭には行けず。秋冬はほぼメンテナンスいらずだろうし、お隣のお友達が見ていてくれるし、大丈夫でしょう。
マレーシアでは都市に、郊外に、そこここに広がるジャングルな光景を楽しんでいます。
そうそう、Hive Gardenのステッカーをノベルティのバッグに入れてもらえるとのことで、前日の袋詰めをお手伝いしに行こうと思っています。Hiveでのガーデニング仲間が増えたらいいな 😊
