I read an article about satisfaction. In the style of what makes people happier and what doesn't ... and the result was clear. It is friendship and closeness to people that gives us the most satisfaction. Of course I already knew that and I agree. What I would like to have added would be that the connection to nature and its living beings makes it easier for us to allow and appreciate this closeness to people ... Intact nature is like balm for the soul ... and when I see it I am more as satisfied .. then I'm happy.
