Heyho guys, all good in the hood?
I have drawn this picture in my Lunchtime.
After I Digitalised it and because I wasn't satisfied with the background colors I switched it to peace signs. Found it better.
I have drawn random what came in my mind, so I have noooo special meaning behind or do I? I found a nice poetry which maybe fits to it and the Hippie subculture has also an interesting background...
I want to be a hippie but my
mum says no, she says I smell to clean
an short hair as a hippie just doesnt go.I want to be a hippie but my dad
says no as the only drug I take is
asprin and son asprin is a drug a
hippie just cant smoke.A hippie loves peace and the thought
of love, you build war machines so death
isnt for hippies and you think
love is a joke.So my son you dont drink you
dont smoke or do any kind of drug, you
have short hair so a hippie you'll
never be so no means no.

In my point of view this poem shows what some people maybe think or thought a Hippie would be.
But to be a Hippie is much more than that, it's about the meaning behind... In the times when people called themselves hippies I think it was because of war. They were a kind of rebels and wanted to bring love and peace.
Even without the look of a Hippie or even with a healthy lifestyle we all have this inner Hippie and everyone can be a Hippie if he or she likes to be, right? Or what you think?
The modern hippies call themselves more "Bohemians" as I know. But it has hopefully nothing to do with any theory of this bad "Bohemian Club".
The hippie thought or culture began to grow as a youth movement in the United States during the beginning of the 60s and then developed around the whole wild world. Some think that the origin maybe was the European social movements in the 19th and early 20th like such as the Bohemians, which was also influence of Eastern religion and spirituality like Yoga for example.
People wanted to know more and not believing blind to the state or military. They maybe thought that there is more knowledge behind.
If you Was living in this times or maybe you know more feel free to leave a comment. Would like to know the thoughts of an Hippie.
Rise and shine, dear Hippie souls.
