I've been quite busy of late, thanks to the #zingtober contest, and my submissions have all been imaginary pieces, as I have a penchant for approaching tasks from unique angles. I often find myself lost in thought, even when faced with seemingly simple prompts, and this sometimes leads to sleepless nights.
The prompt for today, 'Heavy,' which I believe resonates with many, also led to a sleepless night, lol. I opted to illustrate this concept by depicting a #zing character carrying an uncomfortable load, her discomfort evident from her facial expression.
I began the artistic endeavor by generating a linear sketch using a pencil, then outlined it with a pen, and subsequently undertook the shading process using both hatching and scribbling techniques to create the illusion of light in designated areas until the intended picture was produced.
