Young lips basking under the golden sun
Sipping gentle winds as it hit upon
A divine creature of the celestial sphere
Sitting next to a beggar of dreams

I am but a restless stupid soul
Receding from what I call as life
But you are perfection in the broad daylight
Eating up the darkness that is chaining me up tight

You speak of no ill to someone like me
You're dazzling eyes that spills the truth of life
I wanna hold you closer, but you're scorching bright
Could it be possibly what they call love?

I am a pathetic fool for trying to be
Someone that encompasses your whole beauty
But I am certain that this feeling is true
For you expose what I thought wasn't true

This is my official entry to kneelyrac@kneelyrac's poetry contest :)

This poem tells how a simple girl turned perfect to a certain man's eyes. It tells how did the feeling of the man to the girl changed his outlook and made his life brand new. Please bare with my drawing cause I really don't know how to draw hahahaha (I made that one using MS Paint) ( And oh, by the way, paragon could be translated as 'perfection'). Hope you liked it :)
