When I received the invitation from Zulkifli the Producer of Content Creation Department from Astro Arena for this Radio Interview, I didn't know what to expect. The invitation was to me and the Club Captain to talk about the Club and its 12th Anniversary Celebrations in 2018.
I felt very nervous of course. But then he said no need to worry, we will record it first, then we will edit before we go on air. They sent the set of questions first, then I just have to prepare the answers and rehearsed with the Club Captain. Total time from the invitation and the actual interview date was only 6 days. So, I have to work very fast in gathering the info which were mostly related to historical facts.
The flow was like this:
- Received Invitation from Astro Arena.
- Responded to accept the invitation.
- Sent factsheet to Astro Arena.
- Received set of questions from Astro Arena.
- Prepared answers.
- Rehearsed.
During the recording session.
Come the day on 2 November, so we went there. Met with both the producer Zulkifli and the deejay Burn. Here is the Captain having a chat with Zulkifli while waiting for our slot.
And then we entered the conti room and started the recording session.
All went smoothly... everything was superb. It's quite easy as it was a radio interview, we can read our papers. We ended up laughing the entire time listening to the Captain who tried his best to speak Bahasa Malaysia (Malay Language), but we were eased because Burn the deejay allowed us to mix the language (Malay and English). I am very proud of the Captain for trying his level best to speak in Bahasa. The crew extended a great hospitality to us. Overall was one of the best experience I had and a great knowledge to learn. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks Astro Arena! 馃槅
