A simple file manager is an open source app developed bySimplMobileTools which is used for browsing files.
It's source code is available on github. It is available on google play store and f-droid.It is a very simple and lite manager which is very easy to use.
I have given a few suggestions for this app before and
i would like to make a few more suggestions for this app
1.Junk cleaner
As we all know that each and every application has cache and temp files.
which are just junk and takes unnecessary space in your storage.
now you obviously cannot go and delete each and every single junk file on your own,
so they should have a cleaner which scans internal storage and cleans junk files within the file manager

As you can see it scans all the unnecessary files and asks your permission to delete it
which is really helpful and easy enough to get our storage enough for other files we wanna store
by getting rid of junk files.there are many things that downloaded data which we don't use and apk files which we don't have any use for anymore and app junk ad junk etc,
occupying unnecessary storage where we can store other files.
having a junk cleaner will result in no temp and cache files in the smartphone
and there will be no slowdowns or lag while using phone
as we all know that if there are a lot of junk files the phone tends to slow down eventually it lags alot
if we don't get rid of the junk files we will end up formatting our device every now and then
so having a junk cleaner would just clean up junk from our device making space and keeping the phone fast and you don't have to format or rest your phone from time to time.
so i would suggest that they include a cleaner in the app which could be really useful.
i would really like to see this feature in future.
2.Recycle Bin
Recycle bin is a very important feature according to me which An explorer should have as we all know that,
Recycle bin is usually a feature which we have on desktop through which we recover the files we delete by mistake or unknowingly and now your phone is no exception.
this is a very important feature that i would like An explorer to have
Sometimes we delete a few files unintentionally and we regret it later but if this app has a recycle bin then even if we unknowingly delete some files they will still be there in recycle bin and we can recover it.Now in today's world we do most of the work from smartphone and don't use desktop or laptop much and most of the files are in our smartphones which includes some of our important work files and mostly pictures and videos we take of family and friends etc.

Files wont be permanently deleted if u accidentally delete them if you have a recycle bin you can recover your files easily.
And we all know that there are kids in every house playing with phones not knowing what to do and delete a few important files we can recover them using recycle bin
For example:
As you can see in above picture i have few files in recycle bin which i deleted
but as you can see it didn't permanently get deleted
the file which i deleted came back in recycle bin which gave me a chance to recover it if i want that file
that way i will be sure weather i really want that file or not and not regret later.
I can recover the file if i want to or else i can permanently delete it from recycle bin
as you can see there is a clear all button if you recover the files you need and delete rest of the files in recycle bin you can do it with clear all button and you don't have to select all files manually that will save you some time.
Having a recycle bin feature in this file manager will be really great to recover file.
We don't have to worry about loosing files.
The features suggested above could prove to be very useful to users in terms of storage and files
junk cleaner in a file manager would be easiest and the best way to get rid of temp,cache and other junk files which are occupying space
And
Recycle bin on the other hand would be a very important feature just in case if you don't wanna loose the important files and to recover accidentally deleted files and i think a recycle bin is a feature all file managers should have
so I would really like to see these features in the future
I will try to come up with more suggestions if i can in future
