A simple file manager is an open source application which is used for editing and browsing files.
It is a very simple and lite manager which is very easy to use.
It is available on google playstore and f-droid.
It's source code is available on github.
I've been using this app for quite some time and I would like to make a few suggestions for this app which could be helpful.
1. Easy Accessible Menu
An easily accessible menu of the most basic folders such as documents, music, pictures, videos etc; all arranged and sorted, would be really easy to use.

If a user wanted access to a particular file, he/she can locate and gain access to the file very easily instead of looking through the entire file manager.
It would make it very easy for the user to locate and find all the files without any difficulty; saving time and effort.
The files would be already arranged and sorted, making it more simple, trouble-free and amiable.
As we all know, if we are looking for a file; we usually search through every single folder until we find it, which is very time consuming and troublesome. Also, the files are not arranged properly in an orderly fashion which makes it harder to navigate, like., music, videos, documents etc are distributed randomly across the folders in a random order.
Hence, this feature would arrange all the files in its respective folders.
Like all the mp3 files would be arranged in a music folder, video files in video folder, just like shown in picture above which makes navigation through file manager much more easier, time-saving and the files would be organised and you wont have to search for it.
Space Management
Space management is a feature which gives you a track of the storage of your device.
It gives an over-view of the storage that has been used and the free space remaining so that you will know the storage consummation of the apps and files respectively.
It is a very useful and a rather handy feature to have in a file manager.

As you can see from the picture above, this picture gives you a clear idea about your phone's storage, like, the space being used up by the apps and files respectively.
If your running out of storage, it will very easy to declutter and delete files to free up some space.
Usually, there are tons of junk files in our phones which we have absolutely no idea about. This feature will help us get rid of such unwanted files easily.
Also, we can keep track of the data used by each and every app and file in your device.
And you can also delete big files which are taking a lot of space on your device and free up some space for your pictures,videos &apps etc you can even clear cache.
This feature is very useful for storage management of the device
i would really like to see this feature in future.
Remote Management
Remote management is a file transfer protocol feature which is used to transfer files from your phone to Computer using a wireless connection.
Both the device must be on same wireless connection for this feature to work
it is a very useful feature for people who often transfer files from their phone to computer.

Remote management is a very useful feature which is used to transfer files from your phone to pc.
It uses wifi connection to transfer files.
We all keep traveling alot and we cant just carry our USB cable everywhere we go having this feature in file manager would make file transfer very easy
And the file transfer is much faster than USB since it is using wifi connection
we can always transfer files using Remote Management and it will be very time saving and faster file transfer to have and it is required that both devices are on same wireless network.
For example:
As you can see in the above picture after clicking on Start service option you get an Address which you need to type on your computers file explorer
After typing the IP Address you can view files which are there on your phone in your computer as you can see in above picture and you can even transfer files using Remote management using a wireless connection
it is a very useful feature to view and transfer files from your phone to computer
i would really like to see this feature in future
All these features suggested above would prove to be very useful for users in their daily life.
Having a organised menu is really good so that we can see music files in music folder videos in video folder etc.
And managing storage is also very important feature for some users who want to get rid of junk files or keep track files and apps using storage in one place.
Transferring files through remote management feature would prove very useful and time saving
and Faster file transfer.
I would really like to see these features in future updates.
I will try to come up with more suggestions for this app in future.
