One of the most important things to create a great make-up are the brushes. The products have to be able to blend well with them, they should absorb the colours well and not "swallow" them.
The brushes do not have to be extremely expensive, there are also cheaper brands with a very good price-performance ratio. In this post I will explain the different types of brushes and what you can use them for:

Foundation

Applying and blending liquid make-up works best with a special make-up brush. To obtain a particularly natural finish, work in slightly circular movements.

Concealer

Goodbye dark circles! With the concealer brush you can work precisely at the lash line without smearing the make-up. Work the product into the skin with a brush in tapping movements.

Contour

Using the Contour Brush, the face is first defined in hard lines, which are then well blended.

Highlighter

The fan brush is perfect for applying highlighters. Powder, bronze or blush can also be gently applied to the skin.
Tip: With this tool also eye shadow fall out can be removed easily.

Powder

Loose or pressed powder can be applied flawlessly with the rounded shape of this brush.

Bronzer

Bright cheeks as if kissed by the sun - with a bronze brush it becomes possible.

Eyeliner

Precision to the point! With the eyeliner brush, a classically thin eyelid-line is achieved. For the perfect swing, draw the upper line to the outer corner of the eye, close down and colour in.
Tip: With a piece of tape on the outer corner of your eye you can make it a little easier.

Rouge

Loose products such as rouge, powder or bronze can be evenly applied with a slanted brush.

Eyeshadow

There are many different brushes for this, depending on the area of application. Here you should make sure that the brush releases the product well.

Blender

Use a blender brush to avoid too hard transitions with different eye shadow nuances.

Eyebrows

A slanted eyebrow brush provides the perfect swing.
Tip: A matt brown eye shadow can be used as eyebrow powder!

Lips

A lip brush is ideal for precise lip contours and an even, intensive application of colour.
Tip: For fuller lips, simply apply a light colour as a highlight to the middle of the lips.
