There was a method I learned at school, many moons ago...
You pick green leaves and place it in a heavy book and leave it there
for a couple of months, then, using a clothes brush gently tap the
leaf on a flat surface.
This drops the dry bits off, leaving the skeleton of the leaf exposed...
You can then paint them any color you like.
(Gonna have to try that again 😜)
Anyways, I colored this one according to what I remember doing.
